Peter Kwak is a global executive with deep experience in the full consumer value chain. He is currently the country head of Adidas Korea. He has also served as country head for 3 major multinationals managing various stages of growth. Between 2009-2015, he was country head for Nike Korea where he focused on expanding distribution, new business development, and organizational transition to double the revenue of a well-developed, existing business. At Philips consumer goods, between 2015-2017, he turned around a struggling business by focusing on retail excellence, organizational redesign, and financial planning. And at Lululemon, between 2017-2018, he developed strategic direction, organization design and process improvements to transform the Korea start-up into a developing business organization. Prior to his roles in Korea, he was a management consultant in the Chicago office of McKinsey and Company and he earned his MBA from the University of Chicago, Booth School of Business with concentrations in strategic planning and marketing.

Prior to his business career, Mr. Kwak was a news anchor at Arirang TV and a project manager at a United Nations organization in Japan. He has been involved with the Canadian Chamber of Commerce as the Chair and Treasurer. He was raised in Vancouver since he was 6 years old and holds an undergraduate degree in International Relations from McGill University. He is married with 2 high school-age children.
