About CanCham Korea

Learn about the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Korea and our mission to connect business communities.

The Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Korea (CanCham Korea) is a member-driven, non-profit business association dedicated to fostering strong economic ties between Canada and Korea.

For over three decades, we have been the bridge connecting Canadian and Korean business communities, facilitating partnerships, and providing a platform for meaningful professional connections.

Chair's Message

I am honored to have the opportunity to serve as the Chair of this great chamber after having served on the board for more than 20 years. I am grateful to our outgoing Chair, Robert Laing for his generous leadership.

This year will be a very unique and exciting time in the history of Canada-Korea relations as we forge ahead to continue growing collaborations and partnerships through diverse industry specific events, high level Forums and the first Team Canada Trade Mission to Korea. The Canadian Chamber will provide a significant role to help grow business between these two great countries.

As per my unique role in television commerce, I am proud to be the only foreigner and Canadian-Korean in this capacity and to have overseen the past seven years hosting a weekly live television commerce program within CJENM.

Although I was born and raised in Toronto, this will mark my 30th year of having lived in Seoul. If you are not already a member of our chamber, I’d like to encourage you to join us during this extraordinary year!

Looking forward to meeting with you,

June Kang

Chair, CanCham Korea
