Rockey Yoo is a disputes lawyer with extensive experience in high-stakes international commercial arbitration, cross-border litigation, and investor-state disputes. He has represented clients in some of the largest and most complex Korea-related matters across global jurisdictions. Rockey is a member of the New York and California bars and is qualified to practice law in Canada.

Born in Toronto, Rockey maintains strong ties across Canada. He studied at McGill University, the University of British Columbia (UBC), and the University of Alberta, and earned a master’s degree in International Studies from Yonsei University. His professional background includes roles at one of Korea’s leading think tanks affiliated with a major conglomerate, as well as at a top-tier corporate law firm.

Rockey served as Chair of CanCham Korea from 2020 to 2022 and as Chair Emeritus from 2022 to 2025. He currently serves on the Board of Directors. During his leadership, he played a key role in strengthening bilateral commercial relations between Canada and Korea and remains committed to advancing trade and economic cooperation in a complex global environment.
