Dr. Sung Huh (허성) is President and CEO of Kolon Industries, where he leads the company’s global specialty materials and advanced manufacturing portfolio. He previously held senior leadership roles at Kolon ENP, AkzoNobel, Samhwa Paints, Hanwha L&C, and AirFirst.

He began his career in North America with Alcan in Canada, Novelis in the United States, and Metal Sales in the United States, building extensive international experience across the industrial and materials sectors.

Dr. Huh studied economics at Seoul National University before continuing his education in Canada. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of British Columbia, a Master of Arts in Economics from the University of Windsor, and a Ph.D. in Economics from Carleton University.

His Canadian academic background and international industrial leadership experience support his longstanding engagement with the Canadian business community.

Dr. Huh serves on the Board of Directors of CanCham Korea.
